WELCOME TO MY BLOG "THE SPUNKY COOKIE!"

Hello!  My name is Mandy.  I have enjoyed cooking and baking since I was young woman.  I learned how to cook and bake by mainly watching my wonderful beloved mom in the kitchen.  She would let me make dinners occasionally for our family and I really enjoy it!  I also learned how to cook some things by watching my late dad.  A few examples of the things I learned how to cook and bake from my fabulous beloved dad were whole wheat bread, omelets, and gravy.   I am grateful I had parents who taught me how to cook and bake.  I like "Home Cooked" meals.  I will post pictures of things that I have cooked and baked.  I will also from time to time include cooking and baking tips.  Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you come back often and share this blog with your friends and family!  Happy cooking and baking to you all! 

As a side note:  Today would have been my dad's 77th birthday!  Happy Birthday Dad!  Love and miss you!  I think it is a special thing and sort of a tribute to him that I launched this blog on his birthday!
